Our history begins on March 20, 2000, when a group of banking professionals founded Moldmediacard (MMC for short), a company specializing in the selection, implementation, development and exploration of systems involving the processing and incorporation of card transactions into the international system.

In 2008, MMC became the first processing center in Moldova certified to the PCI DSS standard. The company certifies its compliance with PCI DSS requirements by being assessed annually by international auditing companies - accredited by the PCI SS Council. Also, every two years the company is certified by international auditors for compliance with PCI PED requirements.

The company's financial audit takes place annually and is carried out by one of the top 4 specialist companies. Moldmediacard has been included by the Moldovan authorities in the list of the largest and most transparent tax payers in the country, and for transparency and honest contributions the State Tax Inspectorate has awarded it the title of "Highly Credible Taxpayer" for four years.
