We are proud to announce that on March 28th, 2023, Moldmediacard received an Attestation of PCI DSS Compliance after the annual assessment. The process of compliance is part of external audit activities that Moldmediacard is performing annually, starting with 2008.

Moldmediacard will provide Issuing, Acquiring, POS, Card Operation, Data Preparation, Back-Office, Billing Management, Clearing and Settlement, E-Commerce, Mail Order, Fraud and Chargeback, Loyalty Program, Payment Gateway/Switch and Merchant Services with PCI Data Security Standards.

We’ve demonstrated our commitment to safeguarding the payment industry and security by meeting the requirements of the PCI Standard.

PCI DSS: An Overview

It is a set of technical and operational requirements governed by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) to protect cardholder data. The standards apply to all entities that store, process or transmit cardholder data – with requirements for software developers and manufacturers of applications and devices used in those transactions.

PCI SSC

(PCI Security Standards Council) for payment card merchants and processors and is based on five global payment brands - American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, Mastercard Worldwide, and Visa Inc., who have agreed to include PCI DSS as a technical requirement for compliance with each of their data security programs.

PCI Security Standards include:

  • PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
  • PCI PIN SecurityPCI Software Security Framework (SSF)
  • PCI Point-to-Point Encryption Standard
  • PCI Card Production Logical Security Requirements and Physical Security Requirements
  • PCI Token Service Provider Security Requirements.
